On the weekend of January 27-30 The Gamma Kappa Chapter ventured to Kansas City to attend the Western Plains Divisional Conference. The weekend was a great time for us to learn new ideas and gain valuable experience to further improve our chapter. The twenty members that went met with over 300 Delts from numerous chapters in our Division.

Over the weekend we were entertained with multiple guest speakers and breakout sessions on various topics relating to Greek Life and leadership building. After the conference each Admin and Exec member came back with new techniques to implement and better Gamma Kappa.

Most importantly, the Gamma Kappa Chapter stood out during the awards ceremony and was presented with several prestigious awards and recognitions. These included being recognized for academics being above all male and fraternity average, 90% innitiation rate, and being Most Improved chapter in our Division. Additionally, Current Chapter President, Patrick Wolff, and the current Mizzou IFC President, Mike Zeiter, gave speeches to the Alumni and Undergraduates at the event. Mike was also recognized with the Interfraternity Council Award at the conference.
